An Sean Óstán offers a variety of ensuite rooms, family suites and self catering apartments. The building has an onsite coffee shop & restaurant as well as a gift shop. WiFi is free to all guests, as is off street parking. We also provide secure bicycle storage.
Visitors to the Glencolmcille Hotel in the late 1800's often travelled Killybegs by rail and completed their journey to Carrick by horse and carriage. Sadly the railway line is no longer operational, however in attempt to recreate what visitors would have experienced in bygone days, we can offer horse and carriage tours around the scenic roads of Carrick (At an additional coast). These tours run daily in July and August, and can be booked in the gift shop.

An Sean Óstán accommodation is built on the site of the old Glencolmcille Hotel, which opened in 1869.
Some of the hotels original features are on display in the building, including an original fireplace, and the original sign which is displayed outside the building.
A history of the building as well as a collection of old photos is on display throughout the building.

Donegals rugged coastline is part of the world famous Wild Atlantic Way. The Wild Atlantic Way is a coastal road of 2,500km, with many signature points along the route.
Sliabh Liag is one of three such points on the Donegal section of this sensational coastal drive. An Sean Óstán Wild Atlantic Way accommodation is less than a ten minute drive to the cliffs. Sliabh Liag are Europes highest seacliffs at 601m high, the view from the top is absolutely stunning, its a truly unforgettable experience.
The picturesque and historic village of Glencolmcille is also just a short drive from An Sean Óstán accommodation.
